Cowboy Ground Beef Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound extra lean ground beef
  • 1/2 pound turkey bacon, diced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed well
  • 1 can navy beans, drained and rinsed well
  • 1 can butter beans, drained and rinsed well
  • 1/3 cup SPLENDA brown sugar substitute
  • 1/4 cup reduced sugar ketchup
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef, turkey bacon and onion, and drain any excess grease.
     
  2. In large baking dish, add to the hamburger mix the kidney beans, navy beans, butter beans, brown sugar substitute, ketchup, dry mustard and maple syrup. Make sure everything is thoroughly combined.
     
  3. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour, or until everything is thoroughly heated through.

I will not use any sugar substitutes!

it sounds good but we don't like maple syrup so I would use corn syrup

I'd like the nutrition information. It sound delicious. I will try this week as I fixed bacon today and have some left.
