Artichoke Heart Appetizers
Looking to make your next party appetizer a tad more healthy? These artichoke heart appetizers could be the right one for you. Artichokes are naturally packed with calcium and vitamin C and with low fat ingredients, making this appetizer the right choice.
Ingredients
- 2 8-ounce cans refrigerated reduced-fat crescent dinner rolls
- 3/4 cup shredded low-fat Mozzarella cheese
- 3/4 cup grated reduced fat Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup low fat, miracle whip
- 1 14-ounce can artichoke hearts, drained, finely chopped
- 4-ounce can chopped green chiles (optional)
Instructions
- Unroll dough into rectangles; press onto bottom and sides of 15x10x1" jelly roll pan to form crust.
- Bake at 375 degrees F for 10 minutes.
- Combine shredded cheese, Parmesan cheese, miracle whip, artichoke hearts and chilies, if desired.
- Spread over crust. Bake for 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
- Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Cut in squares.
