Amaretto Slushie
If you like Amaretto, you'll love this new twist on an old favorite: The slushie. The light fruit-juice concentrates mean it won't pack in a ton of calories, so it's perfect for a hot summer day...or any day.

Ingredients
- 1 cup boiling water
- 3 tea bags (orange pekoe works well)
- 3 1/2 cups cold water
- 1 1/2 cup Amaretto
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 6-oz. can frozen light orange juice concentrate, thawed and undiluted
- 1 6-oz. can frozen light lemonade concentrate, thawed and undiluted
- 2 33.8-oz. bottles ginger ale, chilled
Instructions
- Pour boiling water over tea bags; cover and let stand 5 minutes.
- Remove tea bags and discard.
- Transfer tea to a 2-quart freezer container.
- Stir in the cold water, sugar, orange juice concentrate, and lemonade concentrate.
- Cover and freeze until firm.
- To serve, partially thaw until slushy.
- Pour equal amounts of slush mixture and ginger ale into serving glasses.
Makes one gallon.

I assume the Amaretto gets added to the OJ and lemonade step, but it was omitted from the instructions...
