Ingredients
- 4 cups fresh cranberries
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups sugar substitute
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest or orange zest
- Cinnamon, to taste
- Cloves, to taste
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together in a saucepan.
- Heat until mixture begins to boil, stirring until sugar has dissolved.
- Cook about 10 minutes, or until berries have all burst and liquid is reduced.
- Add in cinnamon, cloves and lemon or orange zest before the sauce completely thickens.
