Ingredients
- 6 cups frenched green beans, blanched
- 1 pint fat free sour cream
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 4 strips turkey bacon, cooked until crisp and crumbled
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Black pepper, to taste
- 2 cups reduced fat Parmesan cheese, grated
- 4 ounces mushrooms, sliced and browned
- 3 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Combine fat free sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, 1 and a half cups of the Parmesan cheese, pepper flakes and black pepper.
- Stir in turkey bacon bacon, browned mushrooms and green onions. Add green beans and mix thoroughly.
- Place green beans in a 9 by 13-inch casserole which has been sprayed with cooking spray. Top with the rest of the Parmesan cheese.
- Bake at 350 degrees F until top begins to brown, about 20 to 30 minutes.
- If the green beans are bubbling but the cheese isn't browning, turn it on broil for just a second. Let set for 10-15 minutes before serving.
