Baked Mozzarella Sticks
If you're in need of some healthy appetizers for parties, then give these Baked Mozzarella Sticks a try. They're a bit different than traditional deep fried mozzarella sticks, but fear not as these are just as delicious. Hooray for healthy finger foods!

This recipe yields 28 3-inch cheese sticks.
Serve hot or cold with salad or soup.

Ingredients
- 1 cup whole wheat flour, sifted
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup reduced fat mozzarella cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup margarine, or the butter substitute of your choice
- 3 tablespoons cold water
Instructions
- With a pastry blender, blend together the flour, baking powder, cheese and margarine.
- Then, add water and mix everything into a paste. Form into strips with a cookie press.
- Bake at 400 degrees F for 8 to 10 minutes.
