Healthier Banana Bread With Walnuts is a low-calorie banana nut bread recipe, great for nut lovers!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar substitute suitable for baking
  • 1/2 cup butter substitute suitable for baking
  • 2 ripened bananas
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cup white whole wheat flour, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
     
  2. Cream the first five ingredients in a mixer.
     
  3. Add white whole wheat flour and baking soda to creamed mixture. (Nuts are also added if desired.)
     
  4. Pour dough in a greased loaf tin.
     
  5. Bake it at 350 degrees F for 45 to 60 minutes. Yields one loaf.
