Ingredients
- 1 pound extra lean ground beef
- 7 ounce whole wheat small elbow macaroni, uncooked
- 1 can (14.5 ounce) cut tomatoes, drained
- 1 can (10.75 ounce) low sodium tomato soup
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 can (4.5 ounce) sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasonings
- 1 pinch black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Brown extra lean ground beef, drain.
- Cook whole wheat elbow macaroni according to directions.
- Mix ground beef, whole wheat macaroni, tomatoes, tomato soup, chopped onion, garlic, sliced mushrooms, salt, pepper, chili powder, and Italian seasoning in a 2 quart casserole dish.
- Cover and bake for 30 minutes.
