Crispy Baked Chicken
This recipe for boneless chicken is a healthy way to enjoy the taste of fried chicken without the calories. Let this recipe show you one of the most ideal ways to cook boneless skinless chicken breast. Simple chicken recipes rarely taste this good.
Notes
The secret to the success of this recipe is to make sure that both the chicken and the yogurt are very cold, hence soaking the chicken in the ice water. The preliminary soaking will help the breading adhere and produce a crisp coating much like that of fried chicken.
If you're serving the chicken on a platter rather than on individual dinner plates, it looks great over kale.

- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- Dash cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Coat a baking sheet with 3 sprays of the vegetable oil.

- Toss bread crumbs, flour, Old Bay, garlic powder, creole seasoning, pepper, cayenne pepper, thyme, basil and organo into a large, tightly-sealing plastic bag. Seal and shake well to mix.
