How it works: Barnouin claims that this diet will not only help you lose weight, but will help you detoxify your body and lead a healthier lifestyle. She also recommends waiting until you are feeling starved before eating, to adjust to the feeling of hunger.
What you do: There is no calorie counting on the skinny vegan diet. Dieters can eat unlimited organic fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Desserts sweetened with cane juice, maple syrup or raw sugar is permitted, but no processed foods or artificial sweeteners are allowed. Because this is a vegan diet, meat, fish and dairy are all forbidden. The plan also recommends regular exercise, emphasizing yoga in particular.
