Saucy Gingered Citrus Cranberries
This homemade cranberry sauce recipe is simple to make, and your guests will think you slaved for hours! Lemon, orange and ginger give this cranberry sauce recipe its unusual flavor and wonderful appeal.

Ingredients
- 3 1/3 pound cranberries
- 2 3/4 cup sugar
- peel from three oranges
- 1 1/4 cup orange juice
- juice of one lemon
- peel from one lemon
- 2 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
Instructions
- Mix the orange and lemon peel with 3/4 cup of the sugar in a food processor and pulse until puréed.
- Transfer to a saucepan and add orange juice, lemon juice, remaining sugar, cranberries and ginger and bring to a boil. Boil for about 10 minutes, until cranberries pop.
- Let cool. Taste some after half an hour, put in some more sugar if needed.
