Skinny South of the Border Soup

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 to 2 pounds 97% lean ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 can (29-ounce) tomato sauce
- 29 ounce can whole tomatoes (break up into smaller pieces)
- 1 can kidney beans, undrained
- 1 to 1-1/2 cans (29-ounce) water
- 1 package taco seasoning
- low sodium tortilla chips
- fat free grated cheese
- avocado slices
Instructions
- Cook onions and ground beef together.
- When onion is tender and ground beef is cooked, drain very well and place in a slow cooker.
- Add tomato sauce, tomatoes, kidney beans, water and taco seasoning to slow cooker.
- Mix well and cook approximately 4 hours on low.
- To serve, put tortilla chips in bottom of bowl. Ladle soup over. Garnish with grated cheese and avocado slices.
