Ingredients
- 1 onion, sliced thinly
- 2 tablespoons fresh garlic, crushed
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, crushed
- 1 pound lean ground turkey
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons light oil
- 8 ounces frozen green peas
- 3 tablespoons curry powder
Instructions
- Combine lean ground turkey, salt, pepper, garlic, fresh ginger and curry powder in a bowl; mix well.
- Heat oil on medium heat and saute onion until slightly golden brown.
- Add turkey mixture and mix well. Cover and cook for 15 minutes, or until turkey meat is cooked. Stir occasionally.
- Add frozen peas, stir well to coat them, cover and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes. When the peas are soft and tender, turn off heat.
