Super Quick Rice with Kidney Beans

Searching for a hearty, rib-sticking meal to cook? Well look no further because this delicious meal is sure to fill you up!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
  • 1 can (15-1/2 ounce) kidney beans, drained
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 low sodium chicken bouillon cubes
  • Cooking spray
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 2 cup water
  • 2 cup quick cooking brown rice, uncooked

Instructions

  1. Coat large skillet with a light layer of cooking spray.
     
  2. Cook and stir green pepper and onion in skillet on medium heat until tender.
     
  3. Stir in water, kidney beans, chicken bouillon and hot sauce. Bring to boil. Stir in brown rice; cover.
     
  4. Remove from heat. Let stand five minutes.
