Just-Like-Starbucks Chai Tea Latte
"The first time I made this, even I couldn’t believe how much it tasted just like the original from Starbucks. However, this Just-Like-Starbucks Chai Tea Latte is a fraction of the cost and is lower in fat and calories. Plus, it only took me a few minutes to prepare this drink. Now when friends come to visit, I surprise them with this warm and soothing chai tea latte. In the warmer months, I make this drink then place it in the fridge until it's nice and cold then serve it over ice. Delish."

Homemade chai latte with fewer calories than the original Starbucks Chai tea sounds just like my cup of tea! However, I am lactose intolerant and was wondering if I can use soy or almond milk instead of the whole or 2 percent milk used in the recipe?

Yes, soy milk or almond milk would be a great substitution! To learn more about dairy-free milk alternatives and when to use them, check out this handy page from FaveGlutenFreeRecipes. http://www.faveglutenfreerecipes.com/Gluten-Free-Diet-Information/Milk-Substitutes-Dairy-Free-Diet

Going to Starbucks every morning can get expensive, so I like that this is a less expensive and healthier version of the original.

Definitely a healthier alternative to the Tazo concentrate stuff they sell :) I usually just add the concentrate to almond milk if I want something a little lighter on the calories, but it's hard to avoid all that sugar unless you make it from scratch.
