This is a great homestyle recipe that is sure to get rid of those winter blues! Since you are cooking the chicken and making your own stock, it really is like grandma used to make it. You should never waste anything! I save up vegetable odds and ends, chicken wing tips, shrimp tails, and even ham bones in my freezer just for soup bases!
