Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup whole grain macaroni
- 2 pounds extra lean ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 dash Tabasco
- 1 can (28-ounce) tomatoes
- 1 can (10-ounce) low sodium tomato soup
- 1 cup low fat cheddar cheese, shredded
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Cook whole grain macaroni according to package directions. Drain.
- Brown extra lean ground beef, onion and garlic.
- Add salt, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, tomatoes, and tomato soup. Combine with cooked macaroni and pour into 2-1/2 quart casserole.
- Sprinkle low fat cheddar cheese over top of casserole. Cover and bake for 30 minutes.
- Uncover and continue baking for an additional 20 to 25 minutes.
