New Quaker Products Review
Quaker Oat Sandwich Cookies
"If you love chocolate and cookies but don’t love how unhealthy for you they typically are, the new Quaker Chocolate Oat Sandwich Cookies are a real treat! They’re naturally flavored and made with whole grain oats, so you can let your kids have them in good conscience…and enjoy them yourself. There serving size is a generous 4 cookies, and these truly are a sweet treat to feel good about!"
"Quaker Chocolate Oat Sandwich Cookies have a nutty, wholesome tasty and just the right amount of sweetness, for a satisfying snack. If you’re looking for a sweet snack that’s good for you, these cookies are a perfect choice!"
"If your family is anything like mine, you grew up eating and baking with Quaker products such as oatmeal and corn meal. With 2 little kids at home, I’ve started including granola bars in the mix, and now, the good folks at Quaker have added a delicious Vanilla Oat Sandwich Cookie to their mix! What did my kids have to say about them? See for yourself (and take into account, these are reviews from an almost-3-year- old and a 5-year-old):
Small One: I want mine apart.
Mommy: What do you think of this cookie?
Small One: Good. This cookie’s MINE.
Mommy: What else do you want to tell me?
Small One: Happy Thanksgiving! Me too.
Mommy: And?
Small One: I want more. Thank you!
Big One: I think the inside tastes like cookie dough and the outside tastes like Oreo cookies for the outside. (he’s 5, remember)
Mommy: Anything else you can tell me with your adjectives?
Big One: It was white and it tasted good. I would like to eat one hundred of them because they taste so good. I could eat 100 more. Thank you!
There you have it! High praise from the tot set. As the Mommy, I would have to agree. The cookies are hearty and crunchy on the outside, just the right amount of creamy sweetness on the inside. Guess these will appear in my pantry soon!"
"For lovers of Oreo cookies, these Vanilla Oat Sandwich Cookies from Quaker are a godsend. I know from personal experience that it can be hard to control yourself around a package of Oreos, but with these Quaker sandwich cookies, I can snack guilt-free! Each package comes with four vanilla-filled cookie sandwiches—totally enough to satisfy your sweet tooth, but not enough that you have snacker's remorse afterwords. The vanilla center is smooth and creamy; it's definitely one of those cookies you pull apart to get to the delicious filling inside. However, unlike other typical sandwich cookies, these Quaker snacks actually have some substance. The whole grain oats and fiber give this cookie a nice texture, more substantial than the usual greasy, cardboard-like sandwich cookies. This sweet little snack-pack is definitely something I'd toss in my work bag to get me through that midday slump!"
Quaker Stila Bars
"Stila Quaker cookie bars are great for snacking throughout the day. They’re not too sweet so I’m not craving sugar after I eat them…and at 100 calories per bar, you can’t lose! The fruit filling tasted like real strawberries and I really liked the crunchy oat cookie. I’ll definitely be grabbing one or two of these bars before heading out to do my holiday shopping this year!"
"I think perhaps my favorite part about these bars was that they are crunchy instead of being soft and chewy. Sometimes I need a sweet snack with some bite and heft to keep me going throughout the day, and the Quaker Stila bars fill that need perfectly. Plus, they work great as an on-the-go breakfast option too. For a sweet and crunchy delight, I think these Quaker Stila bars are the way to go."
Quaker Honey Nut Oatmeal Squares
"Honey Nut Quaker Oatmeal Squares are a wonderful little snack that I don't mind going overboard on. This crunchy oatmeal cereal is healthier than it tastes with 46 grams of whole grains per serving. Mildly sweetened, they are great to enjoy in a bowl or even by the handful."
"I love Quaker’s honey nut flavored Cinnamon Squares. I’ve been eating the cinnamon and maple flavored Cinnamon Squares for years and love those as well! The honey flavored cereal has a hint of honey without being too sweet. The cereal is crunchy to snack on and also stays crunchy in milk. This cereal is packed with fiber and made with wholesome ingredients. This cereal feels like a guilty pleasure because it tastes so good—but there’s no guilt required!"
"Breakfast-lovers, look out! Honey Nut Quaker Oatmeal Squares is easily my new favorite breakfast cereal, not to mention my new favorite snack. I would probably even eat a huge bowl of this for dinner! With a nice textured crunch, this cereal perfectly retains milk and doesn't get soggy immediately after pouring. The honey nut flavor isn't overpowering, and its subtle sweetness has just the right touch. This is an "adult cereal" you can feel good about - it's heart-healthy but tastes like a treat! A win-win!"
