The cooling system is simple, yet highly effective. The carafe comes with two freezer packs that can be kept ready to go. The freezer packs slip into the base of the cooling container. The carafe is held gently between the two freezer packs. Beverages will chill rapidly if surrounded by the two packs. 

I was shocked by how fast the cooling elements went to work. In less than five minutes, warm drinks were chilled and ready to enjoy. The glass carafe is sleek and holds a full liter of juice, water, or any beverage.
