Maple Pecan Pie
Pecan pie is a staple around Thanksgiving. Everyone loves this sweet, ooey, gooey, crunchy pie, expect those watching their weight. Good news! This Maple Pecan Pie has none of the traditional unhealthy ingredients. Instead, this healthy pie recipe uses a whole grain pie crust instead of a white flour crust, and to make it a little more nutritious, it uses pure maple syrup instead of corn syrup and sugar. Plus, to make it cholesterol-free, there are egg whites and coconut oil instead of whole eggs and butter. Despite those ingredient swaps, this pie is incredibly flavorful. It still has that sweet and sticky texture that we all know and love. This is an all-natural, good-for-you dessert that is perfect for Thanksgiving, or any holiday for that matter!
