I am such a big fan of this nutrition - packed green stuff that I have been known to "skip the chips" and just go at it with a spoon! I like that this version doesn't have chunks of tomato or garlic like other version I've seen. If you don't have a fresh jalapeno on hand, a chipotle pepper in adobo sauce works great too, if you don't mind the slight change in color.
