This quick chicken recipe is especially delicious in the spring / summer months when the asparagus is nice and fresh at peak season. You could try the white variety for a change too. The lemon gives it a nice pop of brightness, and I would also add additional zest for a little more color near the end of cooking. I love asparagus!

This is such a delicious and easy recipe that can be made gluten free by using Tamari instead of regular soy sauce. i usually use chicken thighs when cooking chicken (which is a staple in our household) because chicken breasts tend to get too dry for my taste. This recipe is delicious with the chicken breasts and healthier too!

This dish looks good! I am always looking for new and healthy recipes for chicken. Chicken and asparagus are a great flavor combination, especially this time of the year. For a more intense lemon flavor, I would add a 1/2 teaspoon of grated lemon rind. Rice or noodles would make a great side dish.
