"Are you looking for an easy chicken cordon bleu recipe? If so, keep reading because I’m sharing my favorite with you today. Chicken Cordon Bleu is French for Blue Ribbon Chicken. It’s a dish that is essentially chicken that is breaded and wrapped around a center of cheese and ham. I’ve also seen some recipes use bacon instead of ham but I think that ham is probably traditional. Some Chicken Cordon Bleu recipes call for wrapping your chicken breast around the ham and the cheese much the same way that you make a jelly roll. I have never been successful using this method. No matter how hard I pound the chicken breasts flat, they just do not roll properly. What I end up with is a giant mess. Instead, cut a pocket into your chicken breast and slide the cheese and ham inside."
