Ingredients
- 2 ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
- 2 tomatoes, seeded and finely chopped
- 2 shallots, finely chopped
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 scallions, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 2 to 3 chilies or jalapeno peppers, finely chopped
- 1 dash cumin
- 1 dash chili powder
- Juice from one lime
- 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, freshly ground
Instructions
- Put the avocado in a large bowl and mash with a fork or potato masher.
- Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Season with salt and black pepper. Serve cold or at room temperature.
