Healthy Orange Creamsicle Smoothie
"This healthy and lower sugar Orange Creamsicle Smoothie recipe is full of probiotics and vitamin C! It is also vegan, gluten-free, grain-free, soy free, and has some hidden veggies (your kids won't know!) I used coconut milk in this recipe, but you can use any of your favorite non-dairy milk to make this smoothie. This smoothie is perfect for breakfast, or an after-school snack. Plus, since this recipe uses whole fruits and veggies rather than juices, you get all the fiber too!"

I love using those cute little clementine oranges in recipes which call for oranges since they are so much sweeter. My four year old son won't eat regular oranges because he sys they are too sour, so we always have a bag of these guys on hand. You really do need to use a good smoothie blender or Vitamix for this, I discovered, simply because the carrots won't completely "disappear" into the smoothie. This dreamy recipe would make both the vegans and the omnivores very happy!
