The Hutzler Herb-Eze is a handy kitchen tool that strips fresh herb leaves, measures them, and stores what you don't use. The tool makes it much easier and less tedious to cook with fresh herbs like rosemary, thyme, and basil.
There are 8 holes that range in size surrounding the top of the container. You choose the hole to use based on the size of the stem. I like that they have so many options since not all herbs have the same size stem.
I have always struggled with fresh herbs and removing the leaves from the stems; some herbs like thyme, have leaves that are extremely frustrating to remove. This tool makes it incredibly quick to strip herbs. Instead of spending 10 minutes picking at the little leaves, you can remove them all in less than 10 seconds!
I really like that you can use the Herb-Eze for storage too. If you don't use all the herbs you stripped, simply leave them in the pot and use the cover to seal them. You can put the Herb-Eze in the refrigerator or freezer to store fresh herbs for later.
