Officer Mullen's Apple Sauce really does taste like apple pie without the crust! It is completely all-natural with no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives, and is both GMO free and gluten free. The recipe was handed down from Officer Mullen's mother and is the same recipe he grew up enjoying. Both the original Extra Thick & Chunky and the No Sugar Added Apple Sauce taste fantastic on their own, mixed into oatmeal, or used to make a divine dessert.

The apple sauce truly has that homemade flavor. The fresh apples used to make the sauce are apparent in every bite with chunks of apples throughout. Both varieties of the apple sauce are sweet and ready to eat right from the jar. This is the perfect snack when you are craving something on the sweet side.

We used the apple sauce to make one of their recipes for Chicago's Finest Pork Loin Roast. The sauce paired perfectly with the pork and ensured the pork stayed extra juicy. The easy recipe was a big hit in our offices.

Officer Jim Mullen found his passion for apple sauce after being paralyzed in the line of duty almost 20 years ago. In addition to making a great product, the company donates a portion of all their proceeds to the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation.

This applesauce is much sweeter than I normally prefer, but it could be a great alternative for oil, butter or eggs in a cake recipe. As far as snacking goes though, this wasn't for me.

As a mom of two small boys, I'm always looking for products that taste good, but don't have a lot of added sugar. Officer Mullen's No Sugar Added Applesauce certainly fills the bill! It truly is thick and chunky, which I love - not like some other applesauce products that are thin and runny. It's something I can feel good about feeding my family, and the fact that a portion of the proceeds goes to a well-deserving cause is a fantastic bonus. Good food AND socially responsible. What's not to like about that?

By far the best applesauce I've ever had! I mixed some in my morning oatmeal and it's sweet delicious.

The review is definitely spot on where it says it tastes like apple pie without the crust. There is something about this applesauce that is so savory compared to your standard store brand! I really enjoyed it, but I can't eat too much of it in one sitting since it does taste like dessert!
