Apple Bread Pudding
Few healthy dessert recipes conjure up warm and fuzzy feelings quite like a bread pudding recipe. Now, thanks to this Apple Bread Pudding recipe from French Meadow Bakery, even those who can't eat gluten can still enjoy apple bread pudding.

Ingredients
- 1 loaf French Meadow Bakery GF Cinnamon Raisin Bread, cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1 pound apples, peeled cored and chopped
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 cups whole milk
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- SAUCE:
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup whole milk
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Combine bread, apples and sugar. Combine remaining ingredients and whisk together.
- Place bread mixture in a 9x13 inch baking pan. Pour milk mixture over bread, evenly distributing. Bake for about 45 minutes, until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- For the sauce, whisk ingredients together in sauce pan over medium heat. Bring to a light boil, lower heat and whisk frequently for about 5-6 minutes until sauce has thickened.
- Serve bread pudding with warm sauce or over ice cream.
