Detox Coleslaw
Chances are, you are not used to Cole slaw recipes with this much color and flavor. With unusual add-ins like cranberries, Dorothy Delaney's Detox Coleslaw recipe is a memorable delight that will do your body much good. As a bonus, this all natural detox idea includes a creamy ranch-style salad dressing recipe. This dish will forever alter your relationship with cabbage!

For a creamier dressing, sprout the cashews for 12 hours after soaking.

Ingredients
- 1 cup green cabbage, shredded
- 1 cup purple cabbage, shredded
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1/2 cup cranberries, combined with 1/8 cup honey
- 1/3 cup red onion, diced
- Optional add-ins: dash of garam masala, celery salt or dill, 21 Seasoning Salute, caraway, 1/8 teaspoon turmeric
- RANCH DRESSING:
- 1 1/2 cup cashews, soaked for 12 hours
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1/3 cup cider vinegar
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 2 1/2 tablespoons honey
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3 teaspoons onion powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoon dill
- 1 tablespoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
- 3/4 cup filtered water
- 1/4 cup parsley, finely minced
Instructions

To make the coleslaw, combine by lightly tossing the five main ingredients with your choice of add-ins.

To make the creamy dressing, blend together the cashews, lemon juice, vinegar, olive oil, honey, garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, 1 teaspoon dill, sea salt, basil and water. Then, mix in the remaining dill and parsley by hand, and chill.
