    Ingredients

    • 1/2 cup walnuts
    • 1/4 red bell pepper
    • 1 teaspoon onion powder
    • 1 carrot
    • 1 celery stalk
    • 1 garlic clove
    • 1 1/2 cup mushrooms
    • KETCHUP:
    • 8 sun-dried tomatoes
    • 2 tomatoes
    • 1/2 cup honey
    • 1 tablespoon Bragg's amino acids, Nama Shoyu or Crystal Aminos
    • 1/4 cup raisins, soaked (or 1/4-inch piece of tamarind)
    • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 1/2 teaspoon rosemary
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
    • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

    Instructions

    1. Put the walnuts, red bell peppers, 1 teaspoon onion powder, carrot, celery, garlic and mushrooms into a food processor. Chop ingredients in food processor until desired consistency is reached.
       
    2. To make the ketchup, blend together the sun-dried tomatoes, tomatoes, honey, Bragg's amino acids, raisins, vinegar, onion powder, olive oil, rosemary, salt, chili powder, oregano and cayenne pepper.
       
    3. Stir the ketchup into the sloppy joe mixture. Serve on lettuce leaves or sprouted buns.
