Stir Fried Ginger Vegetables
"Any boring vegetables can be zinged with a little oyster sauce and sesame oil. Broccoli, for instance, can be steamed and then souped up with a little oyster sauce and sesame oil over a flash of high heat. Carrots, cauliflower, anything, will taste immeasurably better when dunked in oyster sauce and sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds. And if your veg drawer is getting super empty, you can shred and stir fry whatever remains, hit it with the sauce and oil and enjoy a surprisingly good veg dish."

What a wonderful way to use up leftover odds and ends veggies from the fridge! I tend to do something like a stir fry or a loaded pasta salad once a week the night before my regular grocery shopping to make room for all my new produce in the crisper. This would make a great side dish to your favorite Chinese chicken, or even tossed with rice noodles for a healthy main course!
