"Ancient Grains Breakfast Bars – quick and easy and made with nutrient packed gluten free whole grains, these bars make a hearty breakfast or satisfying snack. They’re also nut-free which makes them great for school lunch boxes, too! I’ve packed these bars full of whole grains – thanks to Village Harvest Ancient Grain blend – seeds, and dried fruits. They’re gluten free, oil free, refined sugar free, and nut free. They have great texture from all the different grains, yet are soft and chewy. Kid and adult approved!"

For being a nut free bar, these have a surprisingly nutty flavor! The ancient grains get toasted just a bit in the oven, bringing out their nutty flavor, and substituting tahini or sunflower seed butter for the oil really kicks it up a notch! You could use any dried fruits in these - try it a few different ways and see which one your family likes the best!

OHH these look so good! I always want to buy granola bars, but they're so dang expensive. I never thought to make my own!
