Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Rolled oats
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 4/5 teaspoon salt
- 4 ounces plain nonfat yogurt
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions

Toast oats on an ungreased baking sheet for 10 minutes at 375. Shake once during toasting. Remove from oven after 10 minutes.

While the oats are toasting, make the cookie batter (or do as much as possible in 10 minutes).

With an electric mixer, beat the butter until smooth.

Add brown sugar and baking soda. Mix until smooth.

Add salt, egg, vanilla, and yogurt. Mix until smooth.
