The Bella Sun Luci Sun-Dried Tomato Pesto Sauce is one my new favorite pasta sauces. Mooney farms tomatoes are sun-dried and combined with olive oil, Italian herbs, and whole pine nuts. This is a sensational sauce to use on pasta, chicken, and toast.

I used this tomato pesto sauce to make a sausage and pasta dish. I simply added a little chicken stock to give it more body and tossed it with spaghetti. I was more than impressed with the results. It was in fact, one of the best meals I have made in a long time! The cost of the sauce is more affordable than most and you really don't need the added meat to enjoy it. Pine nuts are one of the most expensive nuts, but they don't skimp on them at all. They add a wonderful dimension of flavor and texture.

The jar of sauce is long and narrow making it the perfect size to always keep on hand in the cabinet. When you have unexpected guests, simply toast a little bread and spread this tomato pesto on top, and voila – a delicious appetizer. They include a few great recipe ideas right on the lid of the jar. Friends and family will be impressed when they take a taste of this simple, yet incredible pesto.
