    Pomi Mediterranean Spaghetti

    Italian food has a reputation for being high in calories and fat, but Pomi Mediterranean Spaghetti is one of our many healthy Italian recipes. The healthy spaghetti sauce on this healthy pasta dish is heart-healthy and full of potassium!

    Serves4

    Ingredients

    • 1 1/2 cup Pomi Strained Tomatoes
    • 1/2 cup onions, chopped
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1/8 teaspoon pepper or paprika
    • 4 tablespoons olive oil
    • 4 tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated

    Instructions

    1. Sauté onion and garlic in a large pan with half the oil for 2-3 minutes.
       
    2. Add Pomì and remaining ingredients. Simmer for 10 minutes.
       
    3. In the meantime, cook the spaghetti al dente, add the well-drained spaghetti to the sauce.
       
    4. Return pan to stove and mix thoroughly over low heat.
       
    5. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and serve immediately.
