This was lunch for us today and we really enjoyed it! Mine looks somewhat different than in her image, because I used fusilli pasta (did not have any penne on hand) and my sauce turned out slightly different, though I cooked the recommended times. Maybe the fusilli does not absorb the sauce as much as the penne. I am not complaining, though. The consistency was still excellent and savory. The pepper added gave the meal just the right amount of pep and the cheese gave it a wonderful creaminess. I did add a little more spice to the dish, though. I felt the tomato sauce somehow needed a little something more, but that was simply personal preference, I am sure. I will definitely make this recipe again. It is a crowd pleaser. Thanks for sharing.
