I have deep Italian roots, so I think that if you put a ton of fresh - picked basil on anything so - so, it turns it into amazing! I grow the stuff every year in my garden, and devote a small indoor container garden to this during the winter just so I can get my fresh herb fix! This is very light and the essence of Mediterranean cuisine.

Caprese is one of those perfect flavor combinations. I'd eat any recipe that had fresh basil and mozzarella cheese in it. This pasta looks great!
