Congee Rice
"Congee in its most basic form is just rice cooked in water with salt. It's a common meal in Asian countries and it can include other ingredients and toppings such as a boiled egg and a spicy sauce. Congee is also referred to as poor man’s food and it can be useful if you are planning on losing weight. Just add it to your diet meal prepping rotation. The rice used is not just plain white rice. Congee calls for brown rice or a more nutritious rice variety. That way your congee will be more health benefitting as it will contain more minerals and vitamins. "
